Job Description
Founded in Somerset West in 2010, the Young Bafana Soccer Academy fights against the Poverty-related social skills in South Africa. Through our educational and We sustainably promote the individual development of our players through sports programs. Current We positively influence the lives of around 150 children. In addition to competitive football in the Age groups U12, U14 and U16, U18 and the 1st team will be our football teams supplemented by integrative school teams. Ultimately, this ensures that the children have a future to prepare people far away from the streets and to help them achieve a self determined existence.
Duration: 2-9 months, in 2025
Your tasks:
• Supporting the football coaches on the football field
• Transportation of players • Management of training equipment
• Individual training sessions with individual players
• Training at a private school (Beaumont)
• Administrative tasks
Your profile:
• Student status desirable but not required
• Minimum age of 20 years
• Passion for sports and football
• 3 years of trainer experience is required (trainer license desired)
• Social commitment and the desire to help/support the players
• Team-oriented and communicative
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Hardworking, proactive & independent in work
• Adaptation skills for other cultures and roommates “Hands-on mentality”
• Driver's license
