Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club seeks a Senior Coordinator, Youth Competitions & Training Programs to join our team! This individual will report to the Director of Operations and lead our competitions and training programs. This individual will work cross-functionally on multiple projects and drive the success of each one through excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth soccer and being a part of a team that aims to support the growth of the game locally and regionally whilst meeting our revenue objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of youth competitions and training programs including leagues, tournaments, festivals and supplemental training programs
- Be responsible of the success of each event and program by delivering on forecasted participant numbers and revenue projections
- Organize the registrations needs for each event or program and deliver a seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with club staff to ensure our events and programs are appropriately staffed
- Liaise with the marketing team so all events and programs are promoted across internal and external channels
- Work with the partnership team to ensure any sponsor elements are successfully executed as required
- Oversee the data collection requirements from each event and program
- Ensure all risk management standards and policies are met
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with youth soccer club representative
- Work with Academy and Community Soccer staff to find unique opportunities to collaborate on new and/or further existing events
- Completion of other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is a hands-on worker
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sports, recreation or similar field of study
- Knowledge of the U.S. youth soccer landscape locally and nationally
