Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997 and is Chicago’s ambassador to the global sport of soccer. The Club recently returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an audacious and ambitious vision that will transform the brand and the success of the Club in the coming years.

Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club seeks a Senior Coordinator, Youth Competitions & Training Programs to join our team! This individual will report to the Director of Operations and lead our competitions and training programs. This individual will work cross-functionally on multiple projects and drive the success of each one through excellent organizational skills and teamwork.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth soccer and being a part of a team that aims to support the growth of the game locally and regionally whilst meeting our revenue objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  •  Oversee the planning and execution of youth competitions and training programs including leagues, tournaments, festivals and supplemental training programs
  • Be responsible of the success of each event and program by delivering on forecasted participant numbers and revenue projections
  • Organize the registrations needs for each event or program and deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate with club staff to ensure our events and programs are appropriately staffed
  • Liaise with the marketing team so all events and programs are promoted across internal and external channels
  • Work with the partnership team to ensure any sponsor elements are successfully executed as required
  • Oversee the data collection requirements from each event and program
  • Ensure all risk management standards and policies are met
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with youth soccer club representative 
  • Work with Academy and Community Soccer staff to find unique opportunities to collaborate on new and/or further existing events
  • Completion of other duties as assigned
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is a hands-on worker
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports, recreation or similar field of study
  • Knowledge of the U.S. youth soccer landscape locally and nationally
