Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Location: Watford Football Club - Training Ground, London Colney
Type: Fixed-Term, 20 hours a week
Passport/Visa: Must be eligible to work in the UK

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Watford FC Women’s Team at Watford Football Club. We are looking to recruit a Strength & Conditioning Coach to be a part of a forward-thinking team, responsible for enhancing the physical performance and overall fitness for our Women’s Team.

The role will require effective planning and delivering of indivdiualised strength and conditioning programmes both gym and pitch based, along with regular assessments and testing of the players physical conditions, working closely with the medical team. You will be required to attend weekly training sessions and matches played by the team throughout the season.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic, hardworking, and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.

Applicants should ideally live local to Watford or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit and ideally have experience working within a similar role.

Essential:
• BSc in Strength + Conditioning/Sports Science or Level 3 Personal Training or UKSCA’s Trainer Qualification
• Valid FA Safeguarding Certificate (or working towards)
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and unsociable hours
• Valid full UK driving licence due to the driving requirement of the role, between all sites and other stadiums
• Understanding of the Clubs commitment to EDI & Safeguarding


Desirable:
• Experience of working within elite sport
• UKSCA Accreditation
