Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for both the Men's and Women's teams, ensuring timely reporting
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet Control accounts monthly
  • Ensure purchase invoices are posted to the correct cost centres
  • Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals and objectives
  • Prepare Gate Return Statements and Away ticket statements for each home match day in a timely manner
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations, and company credit card reconciliations

Additionally, you will support the finance business partners in preparing monthly board packs, identify process improvements to enhance financial operations, and perform ad hoc duties as needed. Compliance with Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety policies is essential.

What We’re Looking for in You

Essential:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Qualified or part qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Degree qualification
  • Working knowledge of Sage 200
