Founded in 2018, Football Icon Academy has gone from strength to strength. Consisting of 24 development centers, 1700 players, 11 partner schools, 3 holiday camp venues and fully operational academy at Hayes & Yeading United. We have a huge passion to develop the next generation of footballers, through our coaching methods designed to build players' confidence and to improve individuals' ball control. We work with children aged 4-18 years old and have a number of different programmes to help develop boys and girls of all abilities.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Development Centre Coordinator at Football Icon Academy. The role is a hybrid working role between our venues and your home. As a Development Centre Coordinator, your day-to-day tasks will involve:
● Coordinating and overseeing our 25 development centers and Hayes and Yeading United academy
● Saturday morning club and 1:1 sessions (paid extra)
● Managing staff schedules
● Processing payments
● Communicating with players and parents
● Daily administrative task
● Delivering on the school sport programme
● Delivering on the holiday camp programme
● Running three development centers (Uxbridge Monday, Langley Wednesday, Watford Friday)
Qualifications and experience
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
● Previous experience in sports program coordination or event management ● Previous experience within a professional football club (desirable) ● Knowledge of youth development programs or sports administration ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment ● Minimum Uefa C in coaching football
● F.A first aid certificate
● F.A Safeguarding
● Previous experience of coaching in schools
