Job Title: Business Analyst – Tech 

Location: Stamford Bridge

What you’ll be doing: 

The Technology Business Analyst is responsible for analysing business processes and identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve business outcomes.  

  • Driving technology efficiency and standardisation across the club
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the potential impact of technology investments
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the business
  • Supporting change and adoption of new technology solutions
  • Communicating effectively with business stakeholders and the technology team to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Developing and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of technology solutions
  • Assisting in the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems
  • Analysing system performance data and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Participating in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution efforts
  • Creating and maintain technical documentation for new and existing systems

 

Experience/requirements: 

Essential: 

  • A proven background as a Business Analyst within a technology environment 
  • Demonstrable experience in change management, vendor management and technology adoption 

 

Desirable:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
  • Certifications in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases for data analysis  
  • Experience working within the sports industry, especially a top tier club would be advantageous but not necessary
