TITLE:  Sr. Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT:  Facility Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance

FLSA: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

 

WHAT SETS YOU APART: Orlando City SC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the Facility Operations team.  The selected applicant will be required to inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs and / or preventative maintenance when required. This role supports all Orlando City SC facilities to include Inter & Co Stadium and both Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park and Sylvan Lake Park.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Handle basic repairs and maintenance
  • Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
  • Repair machines, equipment or structures as necessary
  • Support projects and maintenance at the training facilities when needed
  • Work varying shifts to accommodate game / event coverage
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven maintenance experience – 2 references required
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Related technical college degree is not required but preferred
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts
  • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches and other hand/power tools
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
  • Experience performing routine maintenance
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Professional presentation and attitude
  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in MS Access and SharePoint a plus
  • Electrical or HVAC preferred
  • Forklift & Scissors lift certification preferred
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
