Academy Minibus Driver (Part-Time)
About The Role
Leicester City Football Club are seeking a warm, personable and reliable professional driver to provide safe, secure and efficient transport service for the Club's Academy players, using vehicles from the Club's modern fleet. As a driver for the Academy you will be a vital part of the day to day Academy experience and have a positive attitude and build good working relationships.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience driving D1 vehicles and providing a high level of customer service in a warm and personable way to become a trusted and reliable member of the Academy operation. The main objectives for this role will be to provide a comfortable, safe and secure environment for our young people whenever travelling, ensuring that the vehicle in use is clean, presentable, and road-worthy from a safety perspective. The collection and delivery of players to and from the Club's Training Ground in North Leicestershire will be to predetermined destinations at various and changeable times throughout the week, meaning flexibility is key with services required at unsociable times such as evenings and weekends.
The Academy run multiple bus routes; this role is contracted to 10 hours per week, primarily worked Monday to Friday between 16:00 – 18:00, however there is flexibility required to cover staff holidays and weekend fixtures when required.
