Volunteer Human Resources

Job Description

Banbury United FC is recruiting a volunteer Head of Human Resources (HR) to join the Club’s leadership team. This is part of the Club’s continued development of the business: to create the highest performing team in our league, both on and off the pitch.

“Our work on the structure of the Club continues with the identification this specialist position to take us to the next step,” says Banbury United Chairman, Wayne Farrell. “We are searching for a like-minded, high calibre, sports-loving leader with HR expertise to take care of this specific piece of the business. Following the recruitment of a General Manager a couple of months ago, this appointment will further increase the Board’s overall capacity to accelerate and professionally execute the long list of actions we’ve identified.”

It is the aim that the holder of this role will be invited in due course to become a board member, subject to being voted in by the Club’s members. This involves playing a key part in all decision-making at Banbury United.
