Calling all social media experts - We`re looking for a creative and enthusiastic self-starter to join our award-winning social media team.
If you are passionate about creating quality digital content then you could be our next Senior Specialist. The successful candidate will focus on producing best in class content, drive meaningful fan engagement and deliver value to key departments and stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
The specifics of this role will include:
-Channel management of key platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook
-Input and manage the cross-platform content planner
-Matchday duties covering all leading club competitions (Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Academy and Women`s Championship)
-Conceive, pitch and execute innovative and dynamic ideas in conjunction with the club`s video and graphics specialists
-Work with Senior Managers to shape new video and graphical concepts and formats
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (marketing, partnerships, products, retail, foundation) to maximise value from club channels
-Ensure the club is at the forefront of social media innovation and best practice
-Conduct benchmarking and platform analysis to inform content and publishing decisions
-Improve LFCTV show promotion and drive new ideas to grow and evolve the channel
-Manage the club`s international agencies with social media colleagues
-Manage key relationships with external platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook)
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have extensive football knowledge and have a burning desire to be a part of Liverpool`s future success. You will need to have incredible social media expertise and a passion for the platforms as well as being experienced in the Adobe creative suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere (or similar video/image editing tools)
We are looking for a natural storyteller who is able to turn moments into shareable, relatable and engaging content in minutes. You will need to be a team player with exceptional communication skills aswell as a natural copywriter with strong attention to detail.
Our working environment is fast paced so you will need to be comfortable working in extremely high pressured environments, have an instinctive editorial judgement with the ability to quickly read a room and be confident in presenting ideas to large audiences.
To be successful in this role you will need to have knowledge of market specific social media channels, be experienced in working for a large brand/organisation/club and have a deep understanding of social audiences and user behaviours.
Due to the nature of this role we are looking for somebody who is flexible and willing to work weekends where necessary.
We would particularly be interested to hear from those who hold a degree or equivalent in English, Media, Journalism, Marketing or other related subject

This is a full time permanent position working 35 hours per week over 7 days. This role is a combination of home working and office based working.
