Reporting to our Football Development Officers, our Community Coaches are responsible for delivering high-quality community-based activity across all departments including: Primary and Secondary Education; Football & Sports Participation; Youth & Community; Health & Wellbeing; DisAbility and Women & Girls activities in line with the Foundation's strategic aims and objectives.
Our activities take place from morning to evening to help us engage with as many members of our community as possible. Therefore, there will be a requirement to work across Foundation activities that take place in the day, evenings and Saturday mornings.
Session Delivery: Plan, organise, and deliver engaging sports sessions for a variety of age groups and skill levels, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all participants. Where appropriate, it may be required to supervise activities in a Head Coach capacity.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community to promote programmes, encourage participation, and foster a positive relationship between the organisation and community members.
Mentoring and Support Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to participants, helping them to develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities. Programme Development Assist in the development and improvement of FFCF programmes, adapting sessions to meet the needs and interests of participants.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with FFCF health and safety policies, and that all necessary equipment is maintained and used properly including reviewing and updating risk assessments where you are the lead member of staff.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Keep accurate records of attendance and progress, and provide regular feedback to participants, parents, and stakeholders. Input data into our M&E system.
Promotion and Outreach: Participate in promotional activities and events to increase awareness and participation in FFCF programmes.
