Job Description

Hull City Football Club are looking for a Finance Assistant who is ready to take on a varied role and help drive our financial operations forward!

 

In this role, you'll be part of a team that ensures our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be a key player in managing our financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our commitment to compliance and integrity. Position Type: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 37.5 per week (full time)

Location: MKM Stadium, Hull HU3 6HU

Salary/Pay: £23-£25K

Closing Date: Monday 16th September 2024

 

Your key responsibilities

 

·         Maintaining the company purchase ledger including processing supplier invoices.

·         Ensure all transactions are entered accurately in line with the company nominal structures

·         Ensure all transactions have the appropriate purchase order in place and are authorised.

·         Resolution of queries either internally or with the supplier

·         Processing Sales invoices for Hull City and SMC

·         Assistance with monthly payroll processing

·         Compliance with GDPR regulations

·         Any other duties commensurate with the role

 

What are we looking for?

 

·         Minimum 3 years Finance experience (Essential)

·         AAT would be beneficial but not essential.

·         Oracle Fusion/Sage50 experience (Desirable)

·         A good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relations

·         Confident Communicator

·         Able to work on own initiative to achieve objectives

·         Able to recognise when issues with accounts should be raised with line manager

·         Ability to identify opportunities for resolving problems within your area of responsibility

·         Able to take on additional responsibilities and assist others within the department

·         Act with a high degree of integrity whilst representing the values of the company
