About this role:
As a FP&A Analyst at Crystal Palace FC, you will be integral to the financial operations of the Club, providing critical analysis and supporting strategic financial planning. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other senior leaders, ensuring that financial objectives are achieved, and the Club's financial health is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Producing regular KPI reports to monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, benchmarking and support data-driven decision-making. This involves gathering data from various sources, conducting in-depth analysis to uncover insights, and presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders across the organization.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process, ensuring alignment with the Club's strategic goals and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Conducting analytical reviews and financial modelling to support decision-making and business planning.
- Assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of the Club’s 3-year financial business plan.
- Producing regular KPI reports specific to the FP&A Analyst role.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
- Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Finalist/Fully qualified Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
- At least three years of experience in a relevant finance role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAGE 200.
- A solid understanding of advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for data analysis.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
