Job Description

JOB TITLE: Hotel Food & Beverage Manager

DEPARTMENT: Hotel   

JOB FUNCTION: To work with other departments to ensure the optimal provision of food and drink to all hotel customers and team members

DIRECT REPORTS: The Food & Beverage Team

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge

CONTRACT: Permanent, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days per week.

 

PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):

  • Leading and training the food and beverage team in their delivery of food and drink served within the hotels.
  • Demonstrating commercial acumen in all aspects of cost and revenue management, forecasting and budgeting
  • Training, communicating and demonstrating operational standards that strive to exceed company expectations
  • Sharing and assisting in the day-to-day management of all hotel departments
  • Working with support departments – finance, HR and health & safety – to ensure compliance with all corporate and statutory requirements

Experience:

  • Supervisory and rostering experience of food and beverage service in a 100+ cover trading environment

 

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Confidence and ambition in being able to deal with a variety of catering propositions over any given period and to take a core company standard and show the willingness to add value and creativity.
