Our Aston Villa Women's Football Team has achieved huge success since gaining promotion to the Women's Super League (WSL).
In continuing our journey and building for the future, we are focusing our efforts to ensure our Women's Team have the resources in place to help us deliver our ambitious plans for nurturing, encouraging and developing talent and striving to become a leading force in Women’s Football.
2. The Role
Working as a Performance Nutritionist you will determine appropriate methods of implementing the overall programme of nutrition service - including strategic support, education programmes to the squad as well as individual one-to-one support.
You will contribute towards the Women’s Sport Science and Medical Department’s vision of providing an elite player centred environment.
You will play a key role in the multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to create, implement and monitor evidence-based nutrition strategies tailored to the needs of female football players
3. The Person
You must have:
You will have demonstrable experience of working in an elite team sports environment, providing nutrition services to high performance female athletes. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of promoting the role of food to enhance performance and health.
You will need to have a proactive, calm and positive attitude and be able to communicate in a clear and concise way.
You must hold a full, UK driving licence and be able to work flexibility as this role will require you to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as and when required.
