Job Description

Position Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Assistant Coach and play a vital role in shaping the future of our student-athletes! In collaboration with the Head Coach, you'll contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment that prioritizes student-athlete development. Your efforts will directly impact the success of our student-athletes both on and off the field, as you work to build a thriving culture, recruit talented prospective students, and help advance the mission of our College and Athletic Department.

Key Responsibilities •Mentor and guide specific sub-groups of student-athletes, fostering growth and development both athletically and personally. •Assist in practice planning, video review, and strategy sessions to enhance team performance. •Play an active role in the program’s recruiting efforts, including outreach, communication, and coordinating visits for prospective student-athletes. •Advance player retention initiatives to ensure a supportive and engaging experience for all team members. •Manage day-to-day operations of the men’s soccer program, contributing to its overall success.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the athletic community.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and inspire motivation in others.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage tasks efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills across various platforms, ensuring clear and open dialogue with team members and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a soccer program, whether as a coach or player, is highly valued.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid, demonstrating a commitment to safety and preparedness.
  • A track record of success in recruiting and coaching Division III student-athletes.
  • Familiarity with NCAA Division III and conference rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct.
