LOCATION: Robins High Performance Centre, BS8 3TN

CONTRACT TYPE: 37.5 hours per week

Bristol City Football Club are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to work in our busy kitchen at The Robins High Performance Centre in Failand and help keep our kitchens in an immaculate and organised condition and assist in the preparation of food for our Athletes and staff.

We are looking for a Full Time Chef de Partie to help support our Head Chef and his team in the provision of nutritious food for professional football players and associated staff and will be invaluable in making sure our players are at their optimal performance level each and every day.

Duties and responsibilities of a Chef de Partie:

The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

  • To assist the Head Chef in the preparation of healthy nutritious food for professional athletes
  • To be able to work autonomously in the kitchen when needed
  • To assist in the management of the Kitchen porters and Kitchen Assistants when on shift
  • To work to health and safety / food safety procedures at all times
  • To be well presented and adhere to personal hygiene standards always
  • To undergo any relevant training that is required
  • To contribute to new ideas
  • To assist in the creation and delivery of new menus
  • To report any maintenance issues following the correct procedures
  • To assist Head Chef in any tasks required of the Kitchen
  • Oversee the delivery of food on one of our hot counter service

As the job is situated at our training facility the Robins High Performance Centre which is on Clevedon Road in Failand BS8 3TN it would be ideal if the applicant has their own transport. You will be flexible as you would be working 5 days out of 7 but we don’t have split shifts or late night working. The shifts will include some weekends and we do on occasion ask for flexibility in these hours as working within football things can change quickly so the kitchen needs to accommodate this to keep things running smoothly.

The Robins High Performance centre is a state-of-the-art training facility based in Failand where Bristol City First Team and Academy teams train alongside Bristol City Women’s FC. It’s a busy environment and we all work relentlessly to deliver great service so that our teams can work on their on-pitch successes.
