The FAI-Cork ETB Player Development Programme was developed by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) in cooperation with the Cork ETB, which employs the use of full-time football training to engage unemployed people in QQI accredited education with qualified and experienced tutors and coaches.
The FAI and Cork ETB have teamed up to deliver a programme targeted at early school leavers, secondary school graduates and those in receipt of payment from the Department of Social Protection, male and female, who may also be aspiring young football players.
Reporting and responsible to the Cork ETB Community Training Staff and FAI Education Manager, the main task of the coordinator and assistant coordinator will be to set up, co-ordinate, continuously develop, improve, and evaluate an education and development programme for FAI / ETB nationwide.
