LFC`s Digital Product Department creates award winning, exciting and innovating digital products across LFC`s digital real-estate. This team operates in a fast paced, dynamic, agile environment and is key to developing products such as Liverpoolfc.com, Club Apps, Club Store etc.

What will you be doing?

This role will be a key contributor to the Digital Scrum and development processes, supporting the Scrum Lead and development teams in the successful technical delivery of digital products. Communicating with business stakeholders to document digital product support and feature requests for development teams via the development ticketing system.

The Scrum Support role will be responsible for the management and resolution of tickets via Kanban and Scrum boards and the setup and maintenance of the tooling required ensure the development function works and operates in an optimal fashion.

This is a key role in supporting the club to evolve development of its digital portfolio.

The key accountabilities of this role are:
-Management and tracking the life cycle of web support requests through Kanban and Scrum Boards to ensure the development team can resolve bugs and develop digital products.
-Communicating with the business on behalf of development team to understand requirements, gain any additional information and support the Scrum Lead in managing business expectations on delivery.
-Supporting the Scrum Lead to remove impediments or blockers from the internal and external development teams and to escalate any risks and issues to ensure deadlines can be met.
-Supporting with setup and maintenance of tooling to ensure the correct setup, tracking and reporting can be completed.
-Participating in daily and weekly scrum ceremonies with stakeholders and to support with prioritisation of development tasks.
-Completing change and release documentation for development teams to ensure tracking of changes are documented and approved.
-Tracking and report on development time spent for reporting.
-Raising purchase orders and work with finance team to ensure external suppliers are paid on time.

Who are we looking for?

You will show an interest in technology and industry trends, with a range of knowledge of digital products.

The ability to solve problems, organise and prioritise work and have good analytical skills will be vital for creating and understanding reporting.

We will be looking for excellent interpersonal skills as you will be communicating daily with others across the Club verbally, via email, conference calls, and when it`s safe to do so, in person.

The department is a fast paced, changing environment so you will need to be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as working both as part of a team and independently.

Ideally you will have experience working within a development and/or test function, and with development tools such as JIRA or Kanban Boards. Understanding and working in an Agile environment and having an understanding of Digital Tech ie. HTML/CSS, Drupal & Symphony, Magento, AWS will also be preferable.
