We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, proactive, and determined Recruitment Data Analyst to join our business and perform a key role within Coventry City Football Club.
Within the role of Recruitment Data Analyst, the successful applicant will be responsible for the filtering of the club's video analysis framework and processes, supporting the scouting and recruitment team.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
· Contribute to workflows and perform in-depth analysis on diverse data sets from football matches across the world.
· To develop new metrics and enhance our understanding of player performance.
· Build data models in reporting tools and create visualisations that empower end users.
· Present statistically driven case studies on potential transfer targets.
· Demonstrable proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python.
· Experience building semantic models and creating reports in visualisation software such as Tableau.
· Assessment of players against work permit eligibility criteria.
· Knowledge of all data analysis platforms, such as Wyscout, Statsbomb, Impect and Tableau. Utilise API access across data platforms.
· Utilise industry leading data insights, to be presented to the owner, Head of Recruitment, Head of Scouting & Performance Director.
· Produce innovative data analysis content for recruitment meetings, as well as provide in season data reviews.
· Provide all relevant data metrics for detailed player dossiers to provide a 360 view of the player.
· Contribute to the due diligence process through injury auditing and physical analysis.
· Provide innovative data forward thinking presentations to evolve the Coventry City FC recruitment process.
· Utilise multiple data sources to support the player identification and analysis process.
· Be willing to work unsociable hours to ensure that the highest quality of work is maintained during critical times of the season (i.e., build-up to a transfer window).
Person Specification
· Experience within football analysis would be highly advantageous.
· Experience with analysis platforms such as Wyscout, Statsbomb, Impect and Tableau.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to read, understand and interpret analysis data.
· The ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
· The ability to communicate concisely, assertively, and effectively and at all levels of the organisation.
· Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends
