Title: Marketing Executive

JOB PURPOSE
We’re looking for a passionate, proactive and creative individual to join our marketing team at AFC Bournemouth. You’ll support the Marketing Manager with a range of campaigns and activities across the club’s key areas including hospitality, ticketing, retail, memberships, commercial, and brand.
You’ll also play a key role in enhancing the fan experience at home matches, working with the entertainment team to deliver supporter engagement activities.

MAIN DUTIES
- Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns across different channels.
- Be able to lead projects when required with a proactive nature and positive approach.
- Help create engaging marketing content that supports the club’s wider goals.
- Explore external opportunities/personalities that can enhance the brand through digital growth and general awareness both locally and globally.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure campaigns reflect the AFC Bournemouth brand.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their marketing needs and provide support.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of supporter communications.
- Submit requests to our design team to produce campaign materials.
- Support the matchday entertainment team with presence at all home matchdays providing assistance to the team and insight into the evolution of the club’s fan experience.
- Be comfortable engaging with supporters in person and through digital channels.

KEY KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum one-years’ experience working in marketing is preferred.
- A clear communicator with the ability to work with different teams and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly motivated team player with a flexible approach and strong multi-tasking skills.
- The ability to think ahead, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Be dynamic, creative and have a commercial mindset.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and paid, earned and owned channels is helpful.
