Sitting within the Commercial Operations Department, Ticketing (along with Host City Rights Management, Commercial Rights Delivery, Partnerships Integration, Licensing and Retail, and FIFA Fan Festival]) aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible FIFA World Cup™ experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community.  

Reporting organisationally to the Executive Director, Commercial Operations (FWC26 CAN), the Ticketing Infrastructure and Logistics Specialist will be a key member of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Ticketing Team and work in close collaboration with the host country’s Commercial Operations Team.  This role will be responsible for the delivery of the stadium and non-stadium ticketing facilities that will service millions of ticket holders. Further, this role will oversee the implementation of the logistics strategy for all ticketing materials in the host countries.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the Ticketing and Logistics Specialist for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:  
  • Ensure all stadium and non-stadium ticketing facilities for the Canadian Host City Stadiums (Toronto Stadium and Vancouver BC Place Stadium) are delivered as per requirements;
  • Along with other relevant functional areas determine facility designs, hardware and equipment requirements and setup plans for the Canadian Host City Stadiums;
  • Support development of requirements documents, drawings as well as policies and procedures for ticketing facilities including infrastructure and IT;
  • Plan and oversee the configuration and installation of physical infrastructure and IT in the ticketing facilities;
  • Support Development and implement the ticketing equipment and materials logistics concept;
  • Implement the ticketing equipment and material logistics concept for all ticketing materials in Canada; and
  • Support ticket production and mobile ticketing projects.

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or similar level of education
  • Strong event/project management skills
  Work Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Ticketing or similar
  • 2 years in supervising or managing infrastructure and logistics projects
  • Proven experience working in a supervisory role at international sporting events
  • Experience in ticketing projects including ticket production and mobile ticketing is an advantage
  • International business profile is a must
  • Great communication skills, internally and externally across multiple functional areas involved in delivering the projects
Languages
  • Fluent in English. French and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
