Job Summary


Tottenham Hotspur is a world-famous football club based in North London. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centered around building a platform for long-term success, which will includes a world-class stadium.

The Club operates out of multiple sites, including a world-class Training Centre in Enfield where all the First Team and the Academy’s training and coaching activities occur, and where the TC Operations department is based.

Private Player Accommodation (the Lodge) is situated alongside the Training Centre, consisting of 46 bedrooms, a restaurant, various sport and wellness facilities, theatre and lounge, among other indoor and outdoor areas. The TC Operations department is responsible for the successful running of the Lodge.

The Club is seeking a multi-skilled mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to assist in the monitoring and up-keeping of the Training Centre and The Lodge, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered at all times.

The role is wide-ranging and varies in scope and intensity. As a key member of the Maintenance Team, tasks and responsibilities would include carrying out PPM and reactive tasks, timely and efficient response to emergencies and system breakdowns, and mechanical installations and repairs of site services, contractors’ management, and hands-on practical day-to-day repairs.

The position will be on a 5 day week and may involve working irregular hours and responding to call outs (e.g. evenings / Saturdays / Sundays / Bank Holidays). A flexible candidate is sought, with a full driving license due to the call out requirement.

Additional and relevant training will apply if deemed necessary – e.g. working with specialist equipment, H&S, etc.

Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain an up-to-date PPM schedule, including implementation and supervision of scheduled tasks
  • Communicate with, induct and supervise sub-contracts on-site and review quality of work
  • Monitor BMS and carry out fault finding and repairs
  • Be point of call for daily maintenance call outs
  • Be available (as part of a roster) for out of hours call outs
  • Maintain the fabric of the building to the highest standards
  • Support the TC Operations department for specific projects
  • Perform fault finding and repairs on mechanical assets
  • Undertake required administrative tasks, scheduling and assessments
  • Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with relevant H&S regulations and procedures

Skills & Experience


  • A completed recognised mechanical apprenticeship C&G Level 3 or similar qualifications or equivalent
  • Experience in a maintenance environment, preferably with and mechanical bias.
  • Knowledge and experience in BMS 
  • IT literate
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Full driving license, due to the call out and 24/7 over provided
