Job Description

Role Overview

 The Disability Development Manager’s purpose is to play a crucial role in driving the implementation and growth of the Charity’s disability provision.

 Roles & Responsibilities

 Oversee the development, recruitment, delivery and evaluation of the disability programmes including:

·       Pan-disability football sessions

·       Sport Social

·       Junior Disability Football

 Implement new elements to our provision to support the following:

·       Match Day Experience and access.

·       Employability Skills Development

·       Social & Emotional development

 

Training and Education:

·       Design and deliver training programmes for Charity staff and volunteers, ensuring the effective        inclusion of individuals with disabilities in sports activities at the Charity.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

·       Foster strong partnerships with participants and their families, external disability organisations, sports clubs, schools including specialist SEND schools, councils and governing bodies.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation: 

·       Monitor, evaluate, and assess the impact and effectiveness of disability inclusion programmes. Collect and analyse data, measure outcomes, and provide reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Minimum FA Level 2/UEFA C Qualification

 

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in disability sports

Yes

 

Degree qualification in sports management, disability studies, or a related field.

 

Yes

Proven track record of developing and delivering inclusive

sports programs for individuals with disabilities.

Yes

 

In-depth understanding of disability sports and the barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing sporting & leisure opportunities.

Yes

 

Experience of working in, or with, a Social Enterprise company to provide opportunities for adults living with a disability.

 

Yes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate individuals from diverse

backgrounds.

Previous experience managing large project budgets.

Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work

effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
