Job Description

TEAM: Bristol City Womens

LINE MANAGER: Lead Physical Performance Coach

LOCATION: Robins High Performance Centre, BS8 3TN

Please note that this role involves weekend work and requires flexible working hours in line with the team training schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management of sports science and S&C delivery for players.
  • To assist all sports science and S&C testing, data collection and analysis.
  • Work closely with the performance team in the design and implementation of programmes.
  • Support the performance team in delivery of education workshops.
  • Support with the implementation of nutritional strategy.

The role will be based at Robin’s High-Performance Centre, Bristol. BS8 3TN.

Person Specification

The club would welcome applications from individuals who have the following qualifications and experiences:


  • Currently undertaking either an Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in sports science or Strength & Conditioning (BSc/MSc)
  • The applicant should be able to demonstrate an interest/understanding of sports science and Strength & Conditioning.
  • The applicant should have a good understanding of the physical demands of Women’s football.
  • Have a high level of IT skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to integrate in a team environment.


  • Experienced in working in elite women’s sport.
