Applications are invited for the post of:

Lead Academy Performance Analyst
(Full-time position)
Reporting To: Academy Director
Term: Permanent (full time)
Location: Port Vale FC, Vale Park, Hamil Road, Burslem, ST6 1AW and other venues that apply to meet the needs of the role
Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week

The Role: The post holder will provide performance analysis support to the Academy players and staff team.

 The role will include capturing, analysing & presenting training, and match day footage to provide specific, performance-related feedback to players, coaches, and the wider staff team.

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual with the desire to develop their experience within a professional environment.

Essential qualifications: 
•       Educated to Degree level, preferably specialising in Performance Analysis/Sports Science
•       Experience using Hudl Sportscode and Veo
•       Current FA Safeguarding Certificate
•       FA EFAiF Certificate
•       Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable skills, knowledge and experiences required for this role are detailed below:
·        Experience of working in an elite academy environment 
·        UEFA B Licence
·        An understanding in working with other disciplines and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
·        Proficient in Wyscout and Hudl Studio
·        Strong knowledge of the EPPP 
·        Ability to use/monitor the Premier League FiP

Successful applicants will need to:
•       Be highly experienced in working with academy staff and players in an elite environment
•       Show a high level of competence when working with football analysis software
•       Have a comprehensive understanding of the game and a willingness to learn
•       Have a clear understanding of the academy system and the professional football environment
•       Demonstrate a detailed and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Performance Analysis
•       Have an in-date Safeguarding qualification
•       Have an in-date Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification
•       Be available for PDP, YD & FP training sessions and match days
•       Undertake any training relevant to the post, including ongoing CPD training
•       Have experience using the PMA/FiP system, inputting the relevant information
•       Flexible to work evenings in a coaching capacity

It is necessary to undertake any training relevant to the post, including ongoing CPD training, be trustworthy and adhere to codes of conduct, ethics and confidentiality.
