Job Description

Overall Objective - 

To provide physiotherapy services to the Women’s First Team players.

Main Objectives - 

Physiotherapist to work with Senior players. The key duties of the role include being actively involved in our multidisciplinary injury mitigation strategies and the assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and successful training reintegration of all injuries.

The position will also require coverage of training and fixtures, providing emergency aid as required.

Additionally, the role requires assisting in the development of evidence-based protocols for all areas of physiotherapy within LCWFC. 

Summary of Duties - 

Work with existing Physiotherapy and Performance Support staff to:

•          Devise and deliver group and individual injury mitigation strategies to players based on effective screening and profiling.

•          Organise and deliver all aspects of performance Physiotherapy to maximise availability.

•          Attend training sessions and matches played by the Women’s First Team.

•          Oversee treatment and rehabilitation of injured players.

•          The role will play a key role in supporting and working across the Leicester City Women player pathway which may involve working with U18 players.

•          Ad-hoc duties as required.
