THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  • Providing overall administrative support to the team of the Football Regulatory Subdivision, in particular, in matters concerning the Football Tribunal, the FIFA Clearing House, the Agents Department and the Regulatory Governance & Compliance Department. 
  • Reviewing and distributing incoming correspondence, new cases and support tickets. 
  • Organisation and coordination of meetings of the decision-making bodies of FIFA. 
  • Support in the production of public reports and documents. 
  • Assisting in the constant modernisation of processes and the implementation of new digital tools for all processes within the Football Regulatory Subdivision. 
  • Providing support in the gathering of data and statistics in collaboration with other members of the Football Regulatory Subdivision. 
  • Administration and coordination of financial requests. 
  • Assisting with the organisation of events. 
  • Working on various projects within the Subdivision.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
Accuracy and detail orientation, combined with a pragmatic approach when solving problems.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, constantly striving to improve efficiency and quality in the team performance. 
  • Fluency in English and French required.
  • Critical judgement: ability to separate essential issues from side-issues.
  • Solution orientation and innovation skills, with great ability to embrace changes and new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work under pressure: commitment to deliver high-quality outputs in a timely manner.
  • Staying power (tenacity, ready to work long hours, working under pressure).
  • Well-founded legal or project management knowledge. University degree an asset. 
  • Familiarity with the football industry and knowledge of the FIFA regulations and procedures. 
  • Fluency in at least two FIFA languages, in speech as well as writing. 
  • Experience in a sport-related environment, in particular the football industry, an asset.
  • Working competence in Spanish is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office package (Word / PowerPoint / Excel / Outlook).
  • Familiarity with JIRA an asset.
