Sitting within the Commercial Operations Department, Brand (along with Host City Rights Management, Commercial Rights Delivery, Partnerships integration, Licensing and Retail, Ticketing and Hospitality, and FIFA Fan Festival) aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community.   
The Designer at FWC26 MEX is responsible for creating world class design work across the Tournament, FWC26 MEX, and Host Cities. The role will work in close collaboration with those responsible for Partnership Integration, Commercial Rights Delivery, Host City Rights Management, Licensing & Retail, and the FIFA Fan Festival for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues.  The role will work within the Commercial Operations team in Mexico as well as the Brand team in Canada and the USA, working independently or aside from agency creatives, and will be responsible for creating the best-in-class design solutions for the FWC26.

THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  •  Creation of fresh, world-class effective design solutions for all briefs, whilst being respectful of our brand guides and Tone Of Voice (TOV) working with CAN & USA design team.
  • Managing the use in MEX of the FIFA Digital Archive, being the first filter for graphic approvals and correct usage of FIFA and Host Cities visual IP
  •  Guiding/overseeing production, shoots, campaigns, and post-production, as required.
  •  Building presentations and providing clear and effective communication to all parties supporting solid arguments to sell the work.
  •  Inspiring and engaging other creatives within the FIFA26 and FIFA headquarters teams.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience creating work of outstanding design standards, for brand, advertising, and TTL campaigns, ideally in entertainment, motion, and sports at international organizations or international offices/staff
  • English and Spanish advanced
  • Must have knowledge of Adobe, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video tools such as Premiere and/or Final Cut.
  • Proficient in Creative Studios, Production, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project), Keynote and planning software and online collaboration tools
    Creative Assets – Aware of all current marketing software and asset formats from motion to statics. 
  • Digital savvy with experience in social & digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent design skills (conceptual and execution) and strong client management skills with an agency background
  • Brand Development experience
