About this role:

Reporting into the Academy Kit Manager the role of the Academy Kit Person is to play a pivotal role within the Academy Kit department in the preparation and distribution of all Academy training and match kit for Players and Staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Along with the Academy kit staff, preparing daily training kit for U18 & U21 Players and Academy staff
  • Allocate and print all training kit for Academy Players and Staff at the start of each season
  • To assist in the distribution of the match kit protocol for U8 – U16 age groups; to prepare the kit allocation and check before and after fixtures.
  • Manage the training equipment needs for the Academy
  • Help oversee all kit and equipment storage spaces at the Academy, ensuring that they are organised to a professional standard.
  • To participate in the monitoring of the players’ daily duties.
  • Travel with the U18 squad on away games either by driving the kit van or traveling with the team
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
  • Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Commitment to work weekends and travel to away fixtures, tours and tournaments
  • Highly organized
  • Full UK driving licence (with ability to drive a van)
