Job Description

Total Soccer is excited to be actively pursuing a highly qualified leader for the role of Technical Director of Coaching (TDOC).  Total Soccer continues to be the area's most outstanding resource for all soccer training needs for players ranging from beginners through professional levels.  Total Soccer currently trains more than 2,500 players, representing over 200 competitive teams.  It is the largest and most successful club neutral training group in its market area.

TDOC Job Overview: 

Primary Duties:  Reports to the General Manager and Owner of Total Soccer Warminster

Technical Director of Coaching  Leader amongst the 20-30 coaching staff, working with all players, parents and soccer leadership to provide the best overall soccer experience in our market and beyond.

  • Total Soccer Trainer  It is expected that the TDOC will perform much of the on-field training sessions, with private lessons, group lessons, camps, clinics and team training.
  • Travel It is expected that the TDOC can travel to and from sessions within 60 minutes of Warminster, PA.
  • Administration  Minimum of 20 hours/week office time coordinating operations and marketing efforts.
  • Staff Selection & Retention  Recruit, assign and maintain high level coaching staff for all teams in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Facilities  Maintaining and improving daily facility management.
  • Marketing  Promoting all programs through a variety of marketing channels to include, social media, email and phone calls.
  • PDP  Design and manage a personal development plan for yourself in conjunction with the General Manger.
  • Culture  Adhere to all established Total Soccer processes and protocols, as well as helping to improve both processes and protocols for continued growth. Continue to improve upon the current environment including but not limited to training atmosphere, company culture, and facilities.
  • Philosophy  Ensure that Total Soccer's specific player development philosophy is being implemented within all aspects of every Total Soccer program.
  • Club Relations  Building on current positive relationships with other area and regional clubs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • USSF D-youth license
  • Strong club and/or business leadership experience
  • Elite Futsal teaching and methodologies
  • We embrace diversity of ANY background as long as candidate has a strong ability to communicate in English
  • Regional and national relationships to continue to drive the growth of our players and staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • USSF ‘F’ is the minimum standard of licensure
  • Track record of developing individual players 
  • Prior experience coaching 
  • Prior competitive playing experience
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize work in group and individual environments
  • Strong in organizational skills and communication in front of groups (membership & coaches)
  • Excellent on the computer with various platforms both in business (email, website updates, scheduling software, PowerPoint, etc.) and soccer specific (session planning) with the ability to integrate this information into training and match preparation as well as individual player development
