Job Description:

As the Video Producer for Las Vegas Lights FC, you will be responsible for creating compelling video content that showcases the team's brand, highlights player performances, engages fans, and drives audience growth across digital platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, communications, and digital media teams to produce high-quality videos that tell captivating stories and enhance the team's presence in the digital landscape. Your creativity, technical skills, and passion for soccer will play a crucial role in bringing the team's vision to life through video content.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as sole in-house video producer for the club, producing a wide range of content, including game recaps, player interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos, corporate partnership content, social media edits, and original docu-style content
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute video projects from pre-production to post-production, including storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing, and distribution
  • Collaborate with team executives, coaches, players, and staff to identify key storylines and content opportunities that resonate with fans and align with organizational objectives
  • Manage video production schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of content while maintaining high production standards
  • Work closely with graphic designers, animators, and other creatives to integrate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations into video projects as needed
  • Optimize video content for distribution across various digital platforms, including the team's website, social media channels, YouTube, and OTT platforms as needed 
  • Analyze video performance metrics and audience engagement data to evaluate the effectiveness of video content and inform future production decisions
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets and footage for archival purposes and future use
  • Serve as a conduit to United Soccer League HQ to provide highlights and other footage as requested 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in video production, cinematography, and digital media to continuously elevate the quality and impact of video content


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in video production and storytelling, preferably within the sports industry or related field
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, as well as motion graphics and visual effects software
  • Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to capture the essence of the team's brand and identity through video content
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Passion for and understanding of the sport of soccer, including knowledge of the American professional soccer landscape 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and game days as needed to capture live events and produce timely content
