  • Perform monthly closing entries and bank reconciliation.
  • Process employee expense and petty cash requests; submit for approval and payment.
  • Process monthly payroll and ensures proper supporting documents are in place for all Payroll transaction (i.e. additions, deletions and deductions) ; submit for approval.
  • Bookkeeping and record of accounting transactions. (non ops transactions).
  • Perform monthly closing entries and AR & AP reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update fixed assets, accrual, prepayments & provisions records and produce other related reports.
  • Perform day-to-day banking functions including cheques and bank transfer requests.
  • Maintain close and co-operative relationships with the bank.
  • Follows up with the banks and financial institutes to develop strategic relationship with them and solve any pending issues. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and maximize the benefits of the financial systems for operational efficiency.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in related position preferably in private sector.






  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar) 



  • Experience with financial statement preparation (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)



  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations 



  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written 



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and vlookup.



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
