Part time Academy

Job Description

Gen FTBL is an independent Football Performance Programme.

We have our own purpose built indoor facility, where we specialise in working with players at an individual level. We utilise the latest in state-of-the-art technology and data, to drive our players performance in an objective manner.

Gen FTBL has now partnered with Gen Lions Academy - an independent satellite Football Academy, providing players pathways into the professional and non-league game, both here in the UK and abroad.

Our aim is to provide an Academy setting and service, accessible to all players.

Our Mission

To aid players on their journey to reaching their full potential, and playing at the highest level they can.
We want all players we work with to forge a career in Professional Football.

Our Vision

Our Academy will be seen in the same light as professional Academies in the next 5 seasons. Players will graduate from the Academy and go on to play at the highest level they can - our already strong network with clubs in the UK, Holland, Dubai and the States will allow us to help players find the right path for them.

About Us

We provide Football Development services to players from 6 years through to Senior Professionals.

Services include elite standard of;

  • Football specific coaching
  • Competitive teams
  • Strength and Conditioning coaching
  • Mindset coaching
  • Lifestyle mentoring

Our services will be available for all, meaning;

  1. Grassroots players can access Academy standard coaching, equipment and facilities, and play for a team as good as a Cat 2/3 Academy
  2. Players at Cat 2/3 clubs can access Cat 1 standard equipment and facilities
  3. All players can access the latest state-of-the-art Technology and Data, usually only accessible for First Team Senior players
  4. Access to transparent data and networking, putting the individual player first, and not the club
  5. Senior players, playing at ‘non-league’ level, will have access to coaching and resources usually only offered by professional clubs.

Job Description

This is a very exciting role, given that we are the first of our kind and are in our early stages of operating. With that, the responsibilities will vary;

  • Player Development: Review and provide feedback for players (for both our players and players at other professional Academies)
  • Club Development: Continue to help build the club - from refining our philosophy, methodology and syllabus, to adding new teams and networking to create valuable partnerships

Who we are looking for?

Someone with incredible passion for player development, and a hunger to be part of this new and exciting project.

Our salary /rates-of-pay will be competitive, but we are after someone that can look beyond the short term, see our vision, and join us on this exciting journey.

This is an opportunity to join us at the ground level, and help build a new legacy within Football.

Specific essential qualifications;

  • UEFA C Licence coach
  • Full UK drivers licence
  • Vast experience working within Youth Football, with some time spent at professional Academies

Specific desirable qualifications;

  • UEFA B Licence
  • FA Youth Award / Modules
  • High level playing experience
