Job Description

The Girls Academy Director is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the comprehensive management and development of our girls' soccer academy program. Reporting directly to the Club Girls Director, this position entails overseeing all facets of the academy's operations, including coaching staff management, player development, and recruitment. The successful candidate will possess a USSF B license and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of youth soccer development, and a passion for nurturing the talents of young female athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute training programs tailored specifically to the needs of young female soccer players, focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
  2. Supervise and mentor coaching staff, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality training sessions and development programs.
  3. Evaluate player performance and progress regularly, offering personalized feedback and guidance to facilitate individual growth and team success.
  4. Coordinate competitive schedules, tournaments, and events to provide ample opportunities for player development and exposure.
  5. Lead recruitment initiatives to identify and attract talented young female soccer players to the academy, collaborating closely with the Club Girls Director and scouting staff.
  6. Foster positive relationships with players, parents, and stakeholders, cultivating a supportive and inclusive academy culture aligned with the club's values.
  7. Collaborate with club leadership to align academy goals and strategies with organizational objectives, contributing to the overall success of the girls' soccer program.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all participants.

 

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
  • USSF B license (mandatory).
  • Proven track record of coaching and/or directing youth soccer programs, with a focus on girls' development.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate players and staff.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with players, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture grounded in sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
