Job Description

JOB TITLE: Facilities Summer Intern
DEPARTMENT: Infrastructure and Facilities
REPORTING TO: Office Manager
COMPENSATION: $16/ hour, 30 hours per week

New York City Football Club is committed to partnering with colleges and universities to provide
relevant field experience to students by offering meaningful work practices, consistent with
candidates’ career goals. This intern will be responsible for supporting the NYCFC Infrastructure
& Facilities department in many capacities, ranging from project and office administration to
customer facing facility management. Additionally, this position will work closely with both the
Vice President and Facility Managers from the Infrastructure Department to plan, develop and
maintain the physical assets of NYCFC.

  • Day to day project work and planning to support NYCFC’s infrastructure project planning
  • Project Management support & administration
  • Facility Management support & administration
  • Support club-wide infrastructure development projects
  • Other duties as assigned

  • A passion for project management, construction and experience of facility management
  • preferred
  • Interest or experience in facility management and/or project management
  • Experience showing professionalism expected around professional sports teams
  • Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain
  • composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and ability to work long days and non-traditional hours

  • Applicant must be able to comply with applicable child safety policies provided to

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times
