At Blackpool Football Community Trust, we’re seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Casual Assistant Sport Coach, including roles for those specialised in supporting participants with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as Casual Premier League Kicks Sports Coaches. These roles involve fostering a positive and engaging environment for young people attending our Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) camps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising a group in activities such as Football, Multi-Sports or Creative Arts & Crafts during the school holidays, evenings and weekends where required.
• Demonstrating high-energy, confidence, and enthusiasm while working with young people ages 8-18 years old.
• Supporting and motivating participants in line with the Trust’s PL Kicks objectives.
• Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable experience.
• Availability between 4pm-8pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays, with options for Casual Staff with varied schedules.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with young people.
• Passion and motivation for working with young people and the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy, confidence, and fun.
• Managing behaviour of older children.
• Team player mindset with a willingness to exceed expectations as required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the check.
• Driving licence desirable as sessions take place across a variety of venues in Blackpool.
