About this role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced First Team Coach to join our Women’s Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach to contribute to the overall success and performance of the team. The First Team Coach will play a role in assisting training sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach to thoroughly plan and execute top-tier training sessions, perfectly aligned with the team's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Place a dedicated focus on player development, consistently steering the enhancement of both individual and team skills to foster continuous improvement.
  • Ensure training sessions are set up with smooth transitions between practices for the leading coaching team
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach to craft and implement training sessions that coordinate with the team's goals and objectives.
  • Direct attention towards player development, ensuring an continuous improvement of individual and team skills
  • Jointly plan and execute high-calibre training sessions in alignment with the team's strategic goals, working closely with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach.
  • Work towards formulating bespoke individual development plans for each player, tailoring strategies to maximise their potential.
  • Implement coaching standards and game principles encompassing both team and individual coaching strategies.
  • Ensure the undertaking of Continuing Professional Development, staying abreast of the latest coaching trends and methodologies
  • Collaborate with the sports science and fitness staff, contributing to the design and implementation of highly effective fitness programmes.
  • Support the set piece programme, implemented by the technical team
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
  • Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • UEFA B Licence or above
  • Proven experience of coaching, preferably in Women's football.
  • Strong understanding of the Women's game and current coaching methodologies with set piece understanding.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team.
