Job Title – Shooting Producer (Women’s football)

Location – Cobham/Kingsmeadow/Stamford Bridge

Hours – Permanent – 35 hours a week (Any 5 of 7)

What We’re Looking For:


Chelsea FC are looking for a Shooting Producer to film content and provide storylines for Chelsea Studios - content including but not limited to training sessions (Women’s and Academy), matchdays (including single camera filming at Academy matches), feature content, partnership content, travel and ad hoc interview.


Brief description and duties:


  • Working as part of a team and also autonomously to deliver daily filming requirements at Cobham, Kingsmeadow and Stamford Bridge.
  • Filming of training sessions (Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams) with view to wider storylines and how content captured can be shared across platforms.
  • Filming home and away matchdays for Men’s and Women’s games, including media management of content post-match to deliver back for edits.
  • Filming single camera coverage of home and away Academy matches, including media management of content post-match to deliver back for edits.
  • Providing dynamic content which supports growth across all Chelsea FC content channels.
  • Filming editorial content, features and branded content for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting with filming of Club and Foundation events as required.
  • Editing post training and on occasion post-match content to be shared across platforms, delivering this in the correct specs and aspect ratio with focus on correct tracking of ball follows.
  • Responsible for the management of all owned filming and lighting equipment.
  • Ensure all filming equipment is well maintained, available at the correct location, kept charged etc. Timely reporting and tracking of any damage or repairs that may be required.
  • Contribute creatively to original content visual direction and story lining.
  • Regular proposals of new styles and approaches to filming.
  • Proficient knowledge of filming, lighting and sound technical requirements.
  • Working with stakeholders from across the business to ensure Chelsea FC Club content is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Working across multiple projects at the same time and under regular time pressures.
  • Providing new ideas for content strands - ensuring player time and opportunities for exclusive access are maximised.


Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required: 


  • Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge of all elements involved with filming.
  • Professional experience using a range of cameras including Sony FX9, FX6, FX3 and Panasonic P2.
  • Proficiency in production lighting and sound recording requirements.
  • Proficiency using Adobe Premiere.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full production life cycle.
  • Experience working across multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience driving storytelling through filmed content.


Nice to Haves:


  • Knowledge and interest in Women’s football.
  • Experience working in a sports production environment.
  • Multi-platform content examples showcasing an understanding of digital and social videos.
  • Knowledge of social media formats and editing best practice
