Job Description

Reporting organisationally to the Head of Commercial Rights Delivery, the Commercial Rights Delivery Manager will oversee the successful implementation and fulfilment of FIFA Commercial Partners’ World Cup contractual rights and obligations. This role includes management of official sites requirements, stadiums preparation, Commercial Partners activities and deliverables.


The main responsibilities of the Commercial Rights Delivery Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include: 
  • Plan and oversee the implementation and delivery of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Commercial Partners agreements. 
  • Work with stadium venue managers, stadium Authorities, and other functional areas to plan and deliver the rights and obligations of the Commercial Partners.  
  • Together with the team, coordinate and deliver all site inspections, open days, and Commercial Partners operational visits, understanding the commercial requirements at the stadium.  
  • Manage the implementation of clean site and Commercial Partners exclusivity in the stadium. 
  • Ensure the partners recognition program is implemented in all the relevant areas of the stadium as per guidelines provided.
  • Together with FWC26 project leads and the FIFA Commercial Rights Delivery team, implement specific marketing operations projects at the stadium e.g., Value-in-Kind, Special Marketing Programmes and other partners activities, etc.  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations throughout the rights delivery process. 
  • Work with marketing suppliers and assist them in the delivery of their obligations.
  • Support the Commercial Rights Delivery team with other projects as required. 
  • Support the marketing venue team during the tournament period.  
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, guidelines, and presentations on rights delivery progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future events. 
  • Prepare tournament debrief reports.
  • Any other duties that may be required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education
  • Minimum of ~5 years of work experience in sports events management,
  • Proven track-record in managing complex projects,
  • Ability to adopt a strategic view, take decisions, and act promptly, 
  • Ability to operate in a high pressure and fast paced environment,
  • Experience in managing international events or in organizations with international offices/staff,
  • Innovator and added-value approaches towards rights delivery.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
