Job Description

The Premier League’s Media Rights Sales team is looking for a Senior Manager -Media Rights Analyst to support the exploitation of the Premier League's media rights globally.
 
Supporting the overall media rights sales effort, and specifically the regional Heads of Media Sales, the right candidate will have a background in detailed financial / commercial analysis ensuring they are able to research, prepare and present data and conclusions accurately and in a clear and concise manner using standard Microsoft Office tools. This will be underpinned by a good understanding of the media industry (including in relation to premium sports rights) and a passion and curiosity to understand the future of the industry.

The role

  • Develop deep insight in to the commercial / financial performance of the Premier League's current and prospective future broadcast partners 
  • Leverage the Premier League's internal data sources / proprietary information alongside access to third party analysis to create business reporting outputs for the benefit of the Media Rights team and Premier League more broadly
  • Support the regional Heads of Media Sales in their preparation for selling rights to the forthcoming sales cycle beginning in 2025/26
  •  Contribute to, and participate in, internal and external media sales meetings as appropriate
 

Requirements for the role

  • Extensive experience in commercial / financial role(s) in industry or professional services
  • Demonstratable understanding of dynamics in media industry and specifics of media rights (especially relating to premium sports) 
  • Experience and expertise in audience analysis tools such as AdvantEdge or InfoSys+
  • Analytical approach, utilising good business writing and numeracy skills to gather and interpret data, draw insights and make informed conclusions 
  • High level of proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools (especially PPT, XLS, Word)
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling high quality work in a global and multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team player that enjoys contributing towards and being part of a high performing team 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are a bonus
