Job Description

Vacancy - Development Centre Coach Under 8s

We are looking for positive role models who can help support the development of players at the centre. Experience at foundation ages is required as well as enthusiasm and self-motivation.
Available to work on a part time basis including
Monday afternoon 6pm to 7:30pm
Friday afternoon 6pm to 7:30pm
Saturday Mornings for Games - Games are at the Trafford Fives venue - the Trafford Centre each week.

Role would suit coaches looking to advance their experience and deliver in a professional environment. Opportunities to progress with coaching certificates and monthly CPD events available.

Compensation is £15.00 per hour for Training and Games

Roles and Responsibilities
Developing players in line with Accrington Stanley Academy Philosophy
Working with coaches to Plan, do, review process of sessions each week based on Academy sylabus.

  • Delivering appropriate coaching sessions based on the Accrington Stanley DC syllabus
  • Evaluating team performance at games and training
  • Updating player performance data each week
  • Positive communication with parents and players throughout the season

A successful applicant will need:
  • Minimum FA Level 2 or UEFA C
  • Basic First Aid for Sport certificate
  • Safeguarding Children certification
  • Previous experience of coaching

This role involves work with young people and will be subject to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. Clearance through The FA CRB system is required. As such this post is exempt for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions at the time of application.
