Who are Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club?

Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club are proud that our elite teams compete at the highest level of football in England, those being the Premier League, and the Women's Super League. Our home; the spectacular 30,000+ seater American Express Community Stadium hosts in the most parts, our Premier League journey whereas Broadfield Stadium, with a capacity of over 6,000, hosts mainly, our Women's Super League journey. The job

The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative support to the Academy Recruitment department, based at our Elite Football Performance Centre.  This includes maintaining filing systems and managing incoming queries via email, telephone, and face to face.  Whilst undertaking the duties of your role, you will also be required to study for your 15-month Apprenticeship Programme (Customer Service Practitioner at Level 2).


What does the day to day look like?

This role will be undertaken as part of an Apprenticeship course and the successful applicant will be able to work in various areas of our Academy Recruitment department to develop skills, knowledge, and experience in all aspects of administration.  The successful candidate will be able to successfully achieve this through on the job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding.


What we need

This role is as much about skill set as it is about the person.  What's that old saying?  Hire for attitude and train for skill, well that is exactly what this role is all about! We are looking for individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills and must be a team player.  Our ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths grade C or higher and be looking to further their skill set in an administrative capacity.  You must be willing to complete a 15-month Apprenticeship Programme for the duration of your Fixed Term Contract.
