Job Description

Brief Description

Support the stakeholder integration of the Host Country Operations projects in coordination with all projectmanagers, SC departmental leads and external stakeholders.

Responsible to support the development of the Host Country stakeholder engagement framework across allfunctions according to the approved implementation plan.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support to develop framework for working groups and taskforces in terms of stakeholder engagement in the operational planning 
  • Develop the tools and templates for Project Managers to use in the development of their working groups in line overall Host Country Operations Planning & Integration framework 
  • Assist in the formation of stakeholder working groups and provide high level support and participation 
  • Assess the roles and responsibilities that derive from each working group 
  • Coordinate with all Project Managers on the planning of their individual stakeholders 
  • Coordinate with the Planning & Integration team and Operational Readiness team to capture the planning and delivery requirements from the stakeholders 
  • Work with Community Engagement team under Communications to ensure integration in terms of PR and communication

Team Management

  • Provide direction to the team to deliver departmental/divisional planning and administration matters,such as distribution of tasks, monitoring of performance, etc.
  • Identify tasks and priorities for the team and monitor deliverables
  • Adapt to the needs of the role as per the SC evolution and ensure alignment within the team
  • Provide support and coaching on daily activities for the team
  • Ensure the team is in full compliance with the SC Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements

Job Requirements 

Education and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or relevant discipline from an accredited University
  • Master’s Degree an additional asset

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years expertise in in planning and coordination
  • Awareness of local community and areas of specialization
  • Local culture and community awareness
  • Excellent in relationship management
  • Understanding of external government stakeholders expected to be involved in the Host CountryOperations is a major asset
  • Previous interaction with other International Sport organisations, including international sportsFederations
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and people management skills
  • Ability to understand the big picture and adapt accordingly
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and a related ability to work autonomously
  • Team player, willing to work on tight timelines and pitch in when needed
  • Positive attitude, patience and persistence
