Main goal

Ensure a seamless experience for all media stakeholders – from their registration in the UEFA Media Portal, through validation and match attendance requests, to on-site event service delivery – while contributing to other media operations tasks and supporting the delivery of matches throughout the season, across competitions.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Leading a seamless registration process for a diverse range of media professionals, ensuring their smooth onboarding in the UEFA Media Portal
  • Driving an efficient accreditation and match booking process in line with the UEFA Media Operations policies and in close collaboration with ICT to uphold the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy
  • Overseeing media requests from specific target groups, such as teams and international agencies
  • Establishing documentation and standard operating procedures for use by counterparts such as press officers and media representatives
  • Creating and crafting essential documentation and best practices that will empower media operations staff to excel in their roles
  • Mentoring and guiding temporary staff, fostering a productive and motivated team environment while supervising their daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Coordinating the on-site delivery of media operations and services as required, at finals, final tournaments, draws, etc.
  • Applying the latest ICT developments to media attendance processes

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in media, business management or sports/event management

Experience:

  • From 1 to 3 years' experience in event management, serving clients with high expectations, and/or in venue management in football or another spot

Languages:

  • English: Proficient
  • Any additional language is a plus

Other requirements:

  • Good writing skills, including the ability to draft policies, guidelines and workflows
  • Knowledge of and interest in the sports media landscape in general, and particularly in football
  • Ability to produce outstanding results under pressure
  • Proficiency in using ICT tools and platforms, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to work independently and reliably with precision, respecting confidentiality and multicultural concerns
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to build a strong network
  • Creative and service-oriented mindset
