Hours of Work:                      ​Hours are set to meet the needs of the business but are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

  • Service, repair, maintenance and breakdown of plumbing & heating systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Attend breakdowns.
  • Carrying out onsite supervision providing technical and practical support.
  • Fault finding analysis, maintenance and repairs.
  • Installation and upgrading work on a planned and reactive basis.
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and current regulations.
  • Preparation of the facilities for home matches.
  • On duty at all home games and other events.
  • Ensure that all facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Able to multi-task and able to perform all maintenance jobs (e.g. painting; repairs to fixtures & fittings, basic carpentry skills etc).
  • Plumbing/drainage within commercial kitchens and washrooms/toilets.
  • Maintenance and repair of the heating systems within all sites, Radiators, etc.
  • Maintenance of the drainage systems. Alterations to the above with some new installation work. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
  • Supporting other members of staff within the department including undertaking non-plumbing maintenance work as required e.g., not exhaustive.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
  • Operate in accordance with H & S and Quality procedures.
  • Identify and rectify routine maintenance problems where applicable.
  • Identify and report common equipment performance issues.



Essential Requirements


  • City & Guilds or NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing or Mechanical services.

    Terms of Appointment ​

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • 20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
  • 6-month probation period.
