About the opportunity: We are currently looking for a Casual Multi-Sports Coach to join our Everton in the Community team on a casual basis.  As a Casual Multi-Sports Coach, you will join the team to deliver high quality and enjoyable multi-sport sessions within schools’ settings which will engage and motivate young people.   

  

Other key responsibilities will include:  

  

  • Providing high quality multi-sport lessons in schools across Merseyside    

  • Ensuring all relevant quality standards are met in coaching, games, competitions and personal development activities. 

  • To develop effective working relationships with key partners and agencies, raising the profile of EITC through building up local networks within schools and representation on local groups. 

  • Maintain and submit accurate records of activities in line with school standards.  

  

Who we are looking for:  We are looking for individuals with integrity and the ability to inspire commitment, enthusiasm and confidence from participants and the wider community.  

Essentially, you will have Minimum Level 2 in one NGB.  

 

With an ability to be creative and innovative in and both planning and delivery, our successful candidate will be able to adapt sessions to ensure all participants are fully engaged.  

  

Other key Knowledge and Skills will include:  

  • Minimum Level 2 in one NGB 

  • Experience of working in schools and community settings  

  • Experience of working with young people from age 4-11  

  • Knowledge of National Curriculum for PE and PE and Sports Premium 

  • Valid Emergency First Aid Award  

  • Valid ‘Safeguarding Children workshop; certificate  

  • Full clean driving licence  

  

This role will be offered on a casual basis working flexibly as and when required by the programme.   

 

The primary location will be Goodison but this role is mainly field-based working across the Liverpool City Region. It is therefore required that the successful individual has a Full UK Driving Licence and vehicle access.
