The Role
The Club is seeking a Forklift and Telehandler Operative that will support the Logistics Manager with the day to day running of the service yard and delivery schedule.
The position will involve working irregular hours (e.g. evenings / Saturdays / Sundays / Bank Holidays) so a flexible candidate is sought.
Job Purpose
The job of the THFC forklift truck and telehandler operative is to operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, loading docks on a day-to-day basis, this will include event days and some bank holidays dependent on when the shift system falls onto the certain operative.
The Fork Lift and Telehandler operative will be responsible for deliveries arriving into the stadium service yard and the N17 yard based on Park Lane / Worcester Avenue for Internal Teams and also deliveries for any third party events.
Forklift and Telehandler Operators are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs alongside some other duties if required.
Forklift and Telehandler Operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, receiving warehouse/catering and brewery items.
Transporting materials to different locations within the campus.
Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
Securing loads and working with the service delivery.
Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
Operating and managing technical equipment to check delivery schedule.
Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
Identifying workplace safety hazards.
Adhering to safety management standards.
Adhering to production schedules.
Supporting the forklift drivers with deliveries into to the N17 Yard and the Service yard.
Assisting the Logistics department as and when needed
Covering the Forklift Operatives Annual Leave, Sickness and Lunchbreaks
Flexibility to the Role and Hours is expected.

Skills & Experience
Valid fork-lifting certificate.
2 years + in the same working environment
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Proficiency operating technical machinery
