SUMMARY:
Our Coordinator, Partnership Marketing will play an essential role in the successful and timely implementation of critical contractual elements on behalf of St. Louis CITY SC and our corporate partners. The ideal candidate is a client-centric, detail-oriented professional who takes initiative to aid in the activation and reporting of partnership assets while working to continually increase our club’s standards in support and service.
ABOUT ST. LOUIS CITY SC:
St. Louis CITY SC, one of the few majority female-led ownership groups in all of professional sports, was awarded Major League Soccer’s 28th expansion team in 2019 and plays at CITYPARK, an STLMade 22,500-seat world-class soccer-specific stadium. CITYPARK is part of a new stadium district which includes a practice facility, team store and team headquarters all within the same 30+ acre urban campus in downtown St. Louis to help further the region’s continued growth and revitalization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support account managers – and serve as primary point of contact, when assigned – to plan and execute contractual elements for partners under the guidance of CITY’s Director and Managers of Partnership Marketing.
· Assist in the development and execution of co-branded activation programs and marketing opportunities, including but not limited to in-stadium promotions, special events, community outreach programs, and retail activations.
· Attend each St. Louis CITY SC home match and partner events/activations in a working capacity to capture proof of performance photos, assist with on-site activations and more.
· Develop and maintain understanding of partner goals and objectives in light of partnership agreements.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of Major League Soccer rules, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance across all partners.
· Assist in the creation and implementation of all shared corporate partner documentation and reporting, including inventory/asset management and allocations and proof of performance.
· Assist with projects focused on new business, including market research, inventory management/development, and the development of sales presentations to support the Partnership Sales team as necessary.
· Manage partnership marketing assets through sponsorship management and activation software platform (e.g., KORE).
· Work collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies to ensure a seamless and “all-in” approach to deliver value and impact to our partners.
· Monitor St. Louis CITY SC owned channels – including the St. Louis CITY SC app, social media accounts and website – to capture content relating to corporate partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or related fields.
- Demonstrated success with 1-3 years of sponsorship, team and/or venue related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and KORE preferred.
- Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.
- Experience operating a digital camera for content capturing in a live event setting preferred.
