The role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an approachable and experienced Academy Sports Psychologist at a pivotal time of transition and change for Burnley Football Club. 

The person

The ideal candidate will possess a recognised qualification is Sports Psychology and have experience of working with young people. They will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Role expectations

The Academy Sports Psychologist will be expected to:

  • To help develop and implement research programmes across the club.
  • To help develop and implement a psychology programme for the players in the Academy which will be differentiated in relation to the relative phases.
